Terms and Conditions: Claude Code Labs
By registering for and participating in this Claude Code Lab event (the “Event”) organised by AssemblyPoint Limited, trading as Zartis (“Zartis”), in collaboration with Anthropic, PBC (“Anthropic”), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Media Release and Consent
1.1 You understand and acknowledge that photographs, video recordings, and other media content may be captured during the Event.
1.2 By participating in the Event, you grant Zartis and its affiliates an unrestricted, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and publish any photographs, videos, or other media in which you appear, for promotional, marketing, educational, and other business purposes across any media channels, including but not limited to:
- Social media platforms
- Websites and blogs
- Marketing materials and advertisements
- Press releases and publications
- Presentations and case studies
1.3 You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished content or any use thereof, and you waive any claims for compensation related to such use.
2. Public Event – Information Sharing Responsibility
2.1 You acknowledge that this is a public event where information, code, ideas, and content may be shared among participants, Zartis staff, and potentially with the broader community.
2.2 You assume full and sole responsibility for any and all content, information, code, data, or materials that you choose to share, present, demonstrate, or discuss during the Event.
2.3 You warrant that you will NOT share, disclose, or discuss:
- Proprietary or confidential information belonging to your employer or any third party
- Intellectual property (IP) that you do not have explicit rights to share
- Personally identifiable information (PII) of yourself or others
- Trade secrets, confidential business information, or sensitive data
- Any other protected or restricted information
2.4 You hold full liability for any unauthorised disclosure of confidential information, IP, PII, or any protected content during the Event. Zartis expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for content shared by participants.
2.5 You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zartis, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these information sharing responsibilities.
3. Anthropic Intellectual Property and Confidential Information Compliance
3.1 You acknowledge that this Event may involve the use of Anthropic, PBC (“Anthropic”)’s technology, including Claude and related tools, and that such use is subject to licensing terms between Zartis and Anthropic.
3.2 Use of Anthropic Technology: You understand that:
- Anthropic retains all rights to its background intellectual property and any intellectual property developed in connection with its services (“Anthropic IP”)
- Your use of Anthropic’s technology during the Event is limited to the purposes of participating in the Event activities
- You may not use, reproduce, or distribute Anthropic IP beyond the scope of Event participation without express authorisation
3.3. Use of Anthropic Confidential Information: You agree that you will not:
- Enable any AI integrations with Anthropic’s technology accessed during the Event
- Use Anthropic technology or any outputs from the Event to train, improve, or develop competing AI models
- Share any Anthropic confidential information, code, or materials with other large language model providers
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract training data from Claude or other Anthropic technology
4. General Provisions
4.1 Code of Conduct: You agree to conduct yourself professionally and respectfully toward all Event participants, organisers, and staff.
4.2 Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations during your participation in the Event.
4.3 Modification of Terms: Zartis reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Your continued participation in the Event following any such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
4.4. Cancellation/Modification Rights: Zartis reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, or modify the Event format, content, or venue at any time without liability. No refunds or compensation will be provided in such cases.
4.5. No Warranty/Disclaimer: The Event content, including demonstrations of Claude and other tools, is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Zartis makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of information shared during the Event.
4.6. Network/Equipment Security: You are responsible for the security of your own devices and data. Zartis does not guarantee the security or safety of any networks available at Event venues, whether provided by Zartis, the venue, or third parties. We strongly recommend that you do not connect personal devices containing sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information to Event networks and that you take appropriate security precautions, including using VPNs and other protective measures.
4.7. Anti-Discrimination/Harassment Policy: Zartis is committed to providing a harassment-free event experience. Harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the Event.
4.8. Data Privacy/GDPR Compliance: Your registration information will be processed in accordance with Zartis’s Privacy Policy [https://www.zartis.com/privacy-policy/] and Anthropic’s Privacy Policy [https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy]. By registering, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data for Event administration and related communications.
4.9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dublin.
4.10 Acceptance Mechanism: By clicking “I Agree” during registration, checking the acceptance box, or attending the Event, you indicate your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
4.11 Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
5. Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk
5.1 Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that participation in the Event involves inherent risks, including physical injury, accidents involving Event equipment or facilities, and other potential hazards. Your participation is entirely voluntary and at your own risk.
5.2 Release of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Zartis, Anthropic, their officers, employees, agents, venue providers, and affiliates from any liability, claims, or damages arising from your participation in the Event, including personal injury, property damage, or losses caused by negligence of yourself or others, accidents on Event premises, or defects in equipment or facilities.
5.3 Medical Treatment and Insurance: You authorise emergency medical treatment if necessary and agree to bear all associated costs. You acknowledge that Zartis does not provide insurance coverage for participants and that you are responsible for obtaining your own coverage.
5.4 Exceptions: This waiver does not exclude liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
By registering for and/or attending this Event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
