Q: Do you naturally end up with quite diverse teams in terms of personality and working style?
“No, not at all. Building diverse teams requires active intervention. When teams are involved in the hiring process, there’s a natural tendency to choose candidates who think similarly, have comparable backgrounds, and share the same experiences. That’s why it’s important to guide the hiring process and encourage consideration of different profiles. In the short term, having a team with similar experiences can be highly efficient—but in the long term, diverse teams are far better equipped to solve complex problems and adapt to challenges.”
