Can I ask you, what do you feel are the best things about leadership?
I think one of the best things is being able to think in the future, use your imagination, be creative, and also, how much you can learn from people. A lot of people think ‘you’re a CTO, you probably have the most technical knowledge in the company’ and I don’t think that’s necessarily true. You need to know how to build your team, know the strengths that your team has, and how to make use of them. You learn a lot from your team. I think that’s one of the best things that you can have, being a leader… If you’re backed up by a team that trusts you and knows where you want to go, then that’s also an amazing feeling.
