From Functional Spec to Working Prototype in Two Days: How Ovation Incentives 3x'd Its Shipping Speed with Claude Code
A two-day enablement workshop took a waterfall team from a functional requirements document to a working reward-management prototype, then reshaped how they ship software.

Zartis ran a two-day workshop on Claude Code, powered by Anthropic, with Ovation’s product and development teams (3–4 people each), using z-cora, Zartis’s proprietary Claude Code plugin, alongside Claude Code itself across the SDLC — product using it to drive discovery and planning, engineering using it to implement features straight from the functional requirements document.

How We Worked Together
The Zartis Approach
Zartis ran a 2-day Claude Code workshop with Ovation’s product and development teams (around 3–4 people from each side), working directly from Ovation’s own sales incentive platform and functional requirements.
Product Team: used Z-Cora, Zartis's Claude Code plugin that automates the SDLC from discovery through implementation and testing — to generate user stories, acceptance criteria, and story maps directly from the requirements document.
Development Team: used Claude Code directly to implement features from that same requirements document, building a working prototype of new reward-management functionality.
By the end of day two, the development team had a working prototype in hand, and both teams had seen first-hand how AI-assisted development speeds up the SDLC and lifts output quality. Ovation’s feedback on the workshop itself was strongly positive.
